Rainbow Tinseltail and the other students at Sparklegrove School for Unicorns are excited when a brand new unicorn, Sunny Huckleberry, enters the school, but Sunny does not know what his special magical power is, and the thought that he might not have any power at all is making him unhappy; Rainbow (whose power is granting wishes) is eager to help him--even though he does not seem to want her help.

Training alongside his fellow Sparklegrover Forest unicorns to battle a scary monster and earn his Bravery Patch, a nervous Bo discovers that there are different ways to be brave, including standing up for others.

Unicorn Bo and friends set out to help a merbaby, who was born unable to swim on her own. On their journey to find a legendary demigod called The Golden Fish they meet a friendly werewolf and learn some cool new water tricks! And in the end, they learn that merbaby Flo is perfect just the way she is.

Despite disagreements on the wisdom of the adventure, Rainbow Tinseltail and the other unicorns set out for Snowbelle Mountain to find out if Yetis are real--and when they get caught in a blizzard and take shelter in a cave they find the answer to their quest.

A jackalope family arrives in Sparklegrove Forest! Unicorn Bo Tinseltail and friends are excited to welcome the new family. But they soon learn that the jackalope family is being chased by centaurs, which puts the whole forest at risk. Will the family be allowed to stay in Sparklegrove after all?
